I can learn from this source that Henry ford focused not only on the amount of money that his business generated but also the customers view on the product and how efficient the product was. From the quote “a business that makes nothing but money is a poor business” I can infer that Henry ford not only cared about the amount of money he made but also other aspects of his industry.
The ford model t was so popular because it was a reliable, affordable and well built. The fords low prices increased the amount of sales.
There are 3 factors as to why the impact of the ford model t was so great, the first being employment the ford factory needed workers to produce their automobiles that meant that people who didn’t have a job could seek employment in the car industry.
The second factor is lifestyle the ford model t changed the American way of life because people could now get to further places than what they originally could have you could now go to the shops without using public transport you could now go on holiday to further places. The third factor is economy the amount of money that Henry ford generated off of his model t’s was astounding he would have had to pay taxes and they would have been expensive because he ran a business.
